Even though Ashish Chaudhary doesn't seem to be much interested in the fate of his upcoming film RAMA RAMA KYA HAI DRAMAAA, it appears that he may have to wait a wee bit longer to know about the eventual box office performance of the movie.
The film has already been postponed a couple of times and from December, the release was moved to 4th January since there was WELCOME v/s TAARE ZAMEEN PAR competition heating up fast. The producers rightly felt that it would steal the thunder away from their small film that rested its hopes on the comic pull of Rajpal Yadav.
However, the film is now not arriving on 4th January as well and would instead be coming on 18th January. One of the reasons behind this postponement from 4th January could be superstition since in last so many years, no movie released on first weekend of the year has been successful at the box office. Also, on 11th January, there are already three films lined up for release - HALLA BOL, MY NAME IS ANTHONY GONSALVES and BOMBAY TO BANGKOK.
With 25th January being an open week due to JODHA AKBAR getting postponed, it may just prove to be a wait that worked for RAMA RAMA KYA HAI DRAMAAA.
